We start with a discussion of game environment, death, resting, etc.

Random monster table is DEPLETABLE !!!  If we go back to town we may not have to fight through all the same stuff to get where we were.

Meet and greet, bars are great places.

Tegel Village is about a mile inland, with Tegel Manor overlooking the coast.

Rested and fed, we headed out toward Tegel Village early.  A market town of perhaps one thousand, farming is the primary thing we expected to see.  Rumors of treasure and fame to be found at Tegel Manor

We noted a group ahead of us, looked like sailors. As they approached, Paraselene signalled them to stop about 50' away from us.  They stopped and we greeted them.  They were looking for new crew for their ship, folks who wanted to take on the seafaring life.

They said they have a place northeast of town, and we asked that they talk with us in town that evening.

Their leader (we think) started to say 'sure', but pointed at Shadow Walker and said "take him and the women and kill the rest"

  Para said "are you sure?"

  Combat ensued

The leader died immediately, but the others charged us. Battle ended shortly thereafter, with one pirate being led to the law in town. We pulled the bodies off the road, after confirming death and emptying pockets

  1 mace   32 silver   10 gold

We kept on going toward town. In a while a fence line came into view.  Then a crossroad, Tegel and Garm pointers at it.  Then the village came into view.

The lookout tower, northeast of town, was where we could find the local sherrif. There we went, prisoner in tow.

Temple of Thor was in town, with a statue. Another shrine to Molna. A boarding house also.  We got a few 'looks' as we dragged the sailor.

We turned over the sailor, and got a recommendation for an inn and stable. Syrena had garnered some horses in her previous job.

We asked who might buy the mace, got a name for that too. Plus that there is a flea market in a few days.

We set up for one night, and started asking for information about Tegel Manor.  Reebo would try to sell off the mace before we headed out.

Bark and Byte
Altharontha's Boarding House
Halaf Fec's Trade Monopoly

Some items for sale at Halaf's, out of our price range.

The ladies went to the temples, to pay respects. Para picked up some holy water, and was told that Halaf could sell her a small silver mirror.

Goblins between here and temple, maybe pirates too. Rough area.

A lawyer in town, Ep Stroten, claims to have documents proving he owns Tegel Manor.
